Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981, and a part of SSC's Board of Directors since 2011 She was one of the co-artistic director of Speech of Fire. She was also the producer, costume/set designer as well as a composer/musician, text coach and composition instructor for SSC during her time as the Artistic Director of SSC. While she was usually the leader of the acting ensemble during her last year, she was able to make her debut as a director (and the lighting design) with SSC's King Lear.
